GreenFuture Sustainable Initiative Zambia is a Non-Governmental Organization based and founded in Livingstone, Zambia. It was birthed out of a heart of service to the people and the environment. This strong sense of service has been a great influence on the organization's core values, mission and vision.

OUR ORIGIN

The inception of GreenFuture Sustainable Initiative Zambia dates back to the late months of 2025. When a group of community leaders and young professionals expressed their deep concern about the intersection of poverty, environmental degradation and limited opportunities for vulnerable groups. The resonance of this deep concern gave birth to GreenFuture Sustainable Initiative Zambia in March, 2026.

The founding team, led by Paul Mwemba (Contract and Supply Chain Professional, with over 20 years of experience working with NGOs) considered the unfair advantage of Livingstone City. Being both a tourism hub and a community facing climate-related challenges, makes it a perfect setting for an organization committed to sustainability and social impact.

The organization set out to bring about sustainable initiatives that are centered around mitigating climate change awareness and adaption, educating healthy practices for personal and environmental hygiene, and girl child empowerment. These three concerns have been the driving force of GreenFuture Sustainable Initiative Zambia, and will remain so for as long as these concerns are not resolved.
